Welcome to the River Read Reading Series Home Page!The River Read Reading Series is dedicated to bringing high quality poetry and literature to Red Bank residents and visitors. We strive to not only bring entertaining, enriching, insightful and good artists...we want to build a community and support system where we can learn from and become enlightened from one another. The series will host one or two feature readers for the first hour. After the feature reading, there will be ample time for Q&A's, Book Signings and Meet and Greets. Following the recess, we'll open up the series for an open reading, giving you a chance to express yourself and also audition to be a potential future feature. There is no cover charge however patronage to our host, The Dublin House is paramount to keep the series going. Writers will be paid in their book sales alone, so please make allowances to support the feature readers. Mark Brunetti (The Series Co-Host) and I (John Petrolino) also want to extend a very special thanks to Gilda Rogers, the owner of The Frank Talk Art Bistro and Bookstore for helping us launch this series and making it a huge success...! Thank You Gilda! The River Read Reading Series launched on July 12th at Frank Talk Art Bistro and will continue to be held the second Sunday of each month (*unless otherwise noted) there-after at 2:00PM on the Second Floor of The Dublin House (Be sure to check the below schedule for changes/updates/cancelations).
